After church we had a picnic at the park right by church. Taking advantage of those nice days, plus the boys swim party was up that way at 1:30.
Dave took Lexi home and I took the boys to our last year's carpool friend's swim bday party.
The boys had a blast in the wave pool. Zach trying to punch the waves while Josh tried to ride the waves.
They also had a slide and this crazy whirlpool thing. It looked fun but also dangerous. I didn't see any kids get sucked under, but it always took Josh about 3 tries of whirling passed the exit to grab onto the wall there and get out. He thought is was great. Luckily Zach didn't want to go in.
Then Dave got the telescope out and had a great time zooming into the moon. It was pretty cool and Dave is psyched about the telescope now- good find, mom! (Zach was sleeping- all that fun at the pool and no nap did him in early.)
