The Denver Zoo has a few free days throughout the year and so this past Sunday we took advantage of one of those days. It was great weather and plenty of people but not crazy crowded. We took a risk going at all because Lexi had thrown up that morning- could have turned out very badly with us being terrible parents, but thankfully no more throwing up and she seemed to be ok. Josh decided on his own to bring a little notebook and wanted to write down all the animals we saw at the zoo. You can see him doing that in a few of the photos. It was very cute, althought not always convenient for him to find a place he could write and be asking how to spell it at each exhibit. His notebook did run out of pages about half way through so then we were done with that. After the zoo we stopped by Baja Fresh since we do not have that here in the springs. The boys are pretty fond of their chips, pico de gallo, and guacamole too- so that's all they had for dinner and were pretty happy about it.
