Monument Pumpkin Patch

Josh did the slide while the other two were content to roam the land- it was beautiful.

This is how I often found Zach, sitting in the grass and staring off into the horizon- maybe a rancher, farmer, cowboy on our hands....

Tractor Ride throught the beautiful countryside

Lexi was loving the goats

My battery died before I was done picture taking- there was a fun little hay maze/tunnel area and then picking a pumpkin from the "pumpkin patch" The springs area, much to my surprise, is very lacking in the area of a real pumpkin patch. This one was just a hillside set up with some of the fun kid things and then big boxes of pumpkins like you would see out front of Walmart and about 40 of them set out on the grass. The best part, some of the kids found (2 of mine included) was giving a pumpkin a little shove and watching it roll down the hillside. We met some others from our church playgroup here- the kids had fun, it was a beautiful day, and we came home with a couple pumpkins- success at the so called pumpkin patch!
