No Snowmen Here

We tried to make a snowman in the backyard and at the park today and the snow would not stick together enough- too dry. Is that because the air here is so dry?? I hope we get some good snowman snow at some point- we kinda made a big deal out of making a snowman with the boys- figuring out a name, picking out a hat and scarf, etc. We did get to have a bit of a snowball fight- but we were dealing with snow that would not stick together even for a snowball or Dave was finding some areas with ice-like patches that felt like a rock was hitting you. The boys had fun with mom and dad out there with them though. We also went on a walk and have found another favorite restaurant. It is called Labaguette and they have fabulous french onion soup and great rolls and croissants. Just a 5 min. walk from home.
