We awoke to a beautiful white covering on Sunday morning. And, we are becoming more like true Coloradans. Even though there was snow on the ground and it was still snowing, we ventured out to church. Last year we would have stayed home.

Josh really wanted to shovel and get all the snow off Dave's car. He did a pretty decent job and I had to make him come in, he wanted to stay out longer even though he had a red little face.

I now know the difference between cold and bitter cold. Cold is somewhere in the 20's/30's where you need your jacket, hat, gloves, etc. Bitter cold is 8 degrees where any exposed part of your skin such as face, nose, lips, starts to hurt within 45 seconds of being outside. Today was bitter cold! But the sun was still shining! It looked beautiful from inside. (The news said it will seem like warm summer weather by thursday when we get up to 36 degrees!)
