More Snow to Spring
Yep, it's snowing again tonight! BUT tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 60! I would have doubted that in the past, but I have seen it, I believe it, and I am looking forward to some springtime tomorrow!!! I heard a d.j. on the radio today say, "You might live in Colorado Springs IF... It's April 12th and you can't make it over Monument hill." (for those not familiar with the area Monument is the high point between the springs and Denver.)

More Losers
We had someone tape last tuesdays episode of The Biggest Loser show and I just watched it this evening and Zach happened to be in the room. He plopped down on the bean bag and ended up watching it all. I didn't even realize he was really watching til it was over and he said, "mom, I want to watch more losers with you." and when it didn't come back on he said, "But where's the losers? The big show." I asked him why he liked it and he said, "It's funner than kid shows." Who knew!

Z-6 plus some Josh
Hiking in Garden of the Gods Dave pointed to some little oval shaped cactus plants and asked Zach what it was- he said, "ear phones". They actually did look a little like that but we have some teaching to do on our hikes now.
I was pushing the boys on the swings when Josh started going pretty high and getting a little nervous about it. Zach said, "Don't push him into the clouds then we wouldn't have a Joshua. We would have to get a new Josh."
Zach spotted some freckles of mine and said, "I think you have polka dots on you, mom"
We are trying some allergy medicine for Josh's lingering cough and stuffiness and to avoid the dreaded "medicine" word, I was telling him he needed to take a Zyrtec. That word must have appealed to the boys because Josh was pretty excited and willing to take it and the word 'Zyrtec' plus Josh's response made Zach pretty interested too. I said, "you can only take it if you're sick" to which he replied, "I could try to cough!"
Driving in the car the other day Zach said, "How bout we pray to God. " I asked him what he wanted to pray about and he said, "like for making us". I told him he could pray first then I would. So he said, "Dear God, thank you for making us, now talk to mommy."
Last night at bed-time Zach asked numerous times if he could sleep with me and got a bit upset when the answer was no. When the boys were in their beds and it was time to pray Zach said, "Could you tell my problem to God?"
We have the christian radio station playing in the house sometimes, plus aunt Shannon has this song on her cell phone when you call it- so the other day Josh was walking around singing - "Unbelievable, indescribable ..." (I was thinking how cool- he's learning and singing songs about God) until the next words were, "you are amazing,... cheetah" (he does love animals)
Josh came home from school last week and I heard some jangling in his pocket so I asked him if he had money in there. He told me yes, and I asked him where he got it. He said that Telia had given him money for letting her cut in line. Then he pulled out 4 quarters! I was pretty stoked about a whole dollar, but I don't know if that's good.

We Bought A House
This is our soon to be house! We put an offer in this weekend and just signed the loan papers the other day. It should be ours around the 5th of May. This is not the best shot of it, but it has a big tree right in front that makes it hard to photograph from the front. A few things on the list to change- take some of the bushes out and get rid of the blue paint. Don't know when those will happen, but they are on the never ending "things to do around the house" list. It is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 22oo square feet, good sized back yard for $175,000. Not too bad! We had been living in the northwest part of town and this is a little more south east. It needs a little attention inside like some carpeting, paint, maybe change out the pinkish kitchen counter, but all in all not too much HAS to be done. So ya'll come visit!! (or move here- whichever:)

Headed Home
Zachary tripped soon after we entered LAX airport- Josh quickly went to help him up and then held his hand and they held hands the rest of the time walking around. So cute.
