Party at the Zoo

A couple weeks ago we had been invited to a birthday party at the zoo on the 21st (at that time who would have guessed it would have been snowing for hours prior to leaving) This was driving to the zoo thinking "this seems a bit crazy to be going to the zoo in this kind of weather."
However, it turned out to be a beautiful time to see the zoo. It is part way up a mountain and has fantastic views of the city. The snow on the trees was so pretty.
Here's the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Not many cars in the parking lot. We parked right up front! Definitely needed to bundle up a bit. The gift shop was nice and warm & has great hot chocolate!
